FF Commitments

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.

Our scarves are designed to be loved for a lifetime. To be passed on and cherished by future generations. A type of wearable heirloom, if you like. Forever pieces to treasure.

We are opposed to fast-fashion and seasonal pieces. Chic and classic or cool and casual, our silk scarves are the perfect foundation for an outfit, seamlessly tying together a look, or elevating an ensemble. Unless a seasonal trend resonates and is intrinsically part of our DNA, you're unlikely to find it here. We prefer timeless patterns, colours and prints that not only bring joy or calm, depending on your mood, but that also work well with a wardrobe and champion wearability (not a word, but it should be), time and time again.

✂︎ We have a zero waste policy that includes cutting down on textile waste and repurposing leftover silk, vintage and second hand materials and operating on small order runs, limited edition pieces and most-coveted restocks.

Our aim is to 100% eco-friendly with our packaging to be either 100% recyclable, biodegradable or made from recycled materials. As new sustainable packaging continues to improve, we will look to implement those too.

✈︎ We work with UK suppliers where possible,

Supporting local businesses and reducing our carbon footprint that comes with importing.

✈︎ Internationally, we work with small family-run businesses and artisans, supporting small businesses and keeping artisanal skills an important part of manufacturing .

✐ In designing our accessories this way, we are helping to counter the mounting amount of textile waste that has a huge impact on our environment. Did you know, it's estimated that 10,000 items of clothing are sent to landfill every five minutes?(1 ) Not only that, we need to also consider the raw materials that are used in order to produce the items, for example it takes approximately 1,800 gallons of water to produce the cotton in a pair jeans, and 400 gallons to produce the cotton in a shirt (2)... that then ends up in landfill.

☞ So, instead of focussing on fast-fashion, we hope our products will inspire others to re-evaluate their own collection of clothing and make feel-good purchases that they will love forever.

Our Partners

❥ Our internationally recognised silk suppliers have sustainability at the forefront of their strategy.  Certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), they are one of the few producers of 95% organic silk in the world.

Working closely with partners across the supply chain, from the farms that harvest the silk, to the spinners, weavers and dyers, our suppliers are able to ensure an ethical production process.

Lowering carbon emissions, the reduction of waste and limiting the impact of chemicals on the environment have been a huge focus for their R&D efforts where they continue to break new ground.

A founding belief of our business was to ensure our products are authentically organic and produced with the utmost responsibility and we want to pass these reassurances on to you, our customers.
